Thank you for a memorable week - the elephants are fantastic! Especially Low Tong & Lam Pai………We hope to see you again soon! Best wishes to everyone at the camp &many thanks. Suzanne Griggs & Dean Cozens, March 2008 I wasn't exactly sure about doing the mahout experience but my granddaughter back home was expecting pictures of grandma riding an elephant. Her eyes were wide with expectation as she told everyone about it, so I came here. It has been FANTASTIC! Walking along the forest path calling an elephant to follow you was a primeval experience, something to live forever in dreams. Finally riding and guiding my friend, who was sometimes willfully unlistening was something very special to have done. To be able to buy this fun and to know that those Baht will help these mahouts and elephants has a good feeling too. I wish these people best wishes and good luck & prosperity with this project. Thanks to Sam, Tha and Kammoon. Sarah Humphrey age 60 - age is no bar! |
