Optional Afternoon Trips Monday - Thursday transfers leave the camp at 3pm, collecting from the meeting point at 5pm to return to the guesthouse. Monday - Ban Am Phur Beach, post office, photograph printing, 7-11 convenience store, ATM, Internet access & Baht buses into Pattaya for main shops and tourist attractions. 100 Baht per person return Tuesday - Chinese Temple 100 Baht per person return inc. entrance Wednesday - Local Market Interesting market selling food - fresh & cooked - some clothing, CD's, DVD's (Thai), household goods, toiletries and fashion jewellery. The market is at Ban Am Phur so all the options for Monday are also available. 150 Baht per person return Thursday - Lukdod Souvenir Market A huge indoor Thai goods market selling at wholesale prices, amongst other things, jewellery, bags & purses, belts, hats, pictures, wood carvings, photo albums, Thai crafts, clothes, silks, bedding, sculptures, wall hangings, soft furnishings, furniture, cards, candles….and lots of elephant themed souvenirs! We can also do a drop off at Ban Am Phur 400 Baht per person return Friday - Night Market Huge market selling pretty much everything - fresh and cooked food, fake designer bags & sunglasses, watches, shoes, clothes, jewellery, CD's, DVD's - in English - souvenirs and household goods 300 Baht per person return Saturday - Tesco Lotus & Outlet Mall Tesco Lotus is a huge supermarket selling Thai & western foods. There is a photography shop - which also prints photographs cheaply - ATM's and a bookstore upstairs, along with places to eat, including pizza & KFC! Outside there are small market stalls selling souvenirs. To the left of Tesco Lotus is the outlet mall with lots of shops selling clothes, shoes and souvenirs 300 Baht per person return. Sunday - Ban Am Phur As Monday. Departure time from camp/guesthouse 10am - collection at post office 6.30pm Optional Sunday Excursions The Sanctuary of Truth - a beautiful hand carved teak building sat on a peninsula into the ocean celebrating, through sculpture, the various eastern philosophies; including Buddhism & Hinduism. Swim with Dolphins Diving Thailand Tel: 086 558 7137/086 110 1642 divingthailand.com Includes transfers, lunch a visit to an aquarium, dolphin show and a visit to a market Damnoen Saduak Floating Market Near Bangkok this is the largest remaining working floating market in Thailand. An unforgettable and highly recommended experience, at the market you will travel by long tail boat &/or paddleboat to visit the many varied stalls on and alongside the waterways and canals. Fishing trip An enjoyable and relaxing day leaving from the beach in Pattaya. The boat sails out of the bay and then stops for an hour or so to do some line fishing (no experience needed!) before continuing to an island. Whilst you swim around the boat, go onto the island, sunbathe or race about on a jet ski the skipper will barbecue your catch for you to eat.
