  Additional Information

we recommend that volunteers arrive on Saturday afternoon so that you have time to rest after traveling and become accustomed to the climate. We can collect from Pattaya North bus terminal on Saturday afternoon and arrange taxis at a favourble rate from the airports in Bangkok and Sattahip (Utapao)

Dinner on Saturday evening is a western style buffet (bread, cheese, cold meats, salad)

On Saturdays we offer an optional transfer service (leaving at 2pm) to Jomtiem where you can visit the (touristy) beach and visit shops or take cheap local transport into Pattaya. This will also include a stop at Tesco Lotus supermarket to allow you to stock up on snacks and beer! Remember to get something for breakfast on Sunday as this is not included!

On Sundays we offer an optional transfer to Ban Am Phur beach, a non-touristy, beautiful stretch of beach. This beach is frequented during the day by a small amount of western tourists, usually families from the nearby up market resorts, and in the evening by local Thais. As it has a beautiful sunset we do not collect until 6.30pm but it is easy to take public transport back to the camp or your accommodation, or into Jomtien/Pattaya.

We can also arrange a selection of optional trips to surrounding areas e.g. Damnoen Saduak floating market, boat trips, overnight island stays, the sanctuary of truth. We can also help with any on-going travel arrangements.
