Booking Terms and Conditions: - A deposit of 50% must be paid at the time of booking - The remaining balance must be paid at least 8 weeks prior to arrival Refund Policy - Cancellation to 8 weeks prior to arrival - - Cancellation 4 - 8 weeks prior to arrival = 50% refund of monies paid - Cancellation 2 - 4 weeks prior to arrival = 25% refund of monies paid - Cancellation less than 14 days prior to arrival = no refund No refund will be made for any unused travel, guide or accommodation services due to the late arrival or early departure of the passenger, or if due to the passenger being unwilling or unable to participate in any part of the tour. Any additional charges payable due to the client arriving late for a group trip and needing to catch up with the rest of the group, will be the responsibility of the client. Passengers are required to inform us in good time of the date, time and flight number of their arrival and departure flights. In the unlikely event that The Elephant Mahout Project have to cancel your trip, we reserve the right to do so. Should we cancel your holiday, your deposit and other payments will be refunded in full. However, if our cancellation is due to "force majeure" any reasonable expenses we have incurred will be deducted from your refund. Your holiday will not be cancelled by us less than 6 weeks before arrival unless you fail to pay the balance or in the case of force majeure. Passports and Visas You are responsible for ensuring all necessary travel documents are legal and correct. For most destinations your passport is required to be valid for at least six months after your visit. The Elephant Mahout Project accepts no responsibility for clients who fail to meet the laws currently in force. What is included during your time at The Elephant Mahout Project - All fees for participating in the project - Breakfast, lunch and dinner Monday - Friday - Breakfast and lunch - Saturday - Unlimited water with all meals - Transfer from the guesthouse to the camp Monday - Saturday - Insurance whilst working with the elephants Not included within the price you pay to The Elephant Mahout Project - Air travel to and from The Elephant Mahout Project - Transfer to/from The Elephant Mahout Project on arrival and departure days (daily transfer to the camp is included if you are staying at the guest house and transfers for arrival and departure can be arranged at an additional cost - Any meals, activities and accommodation additional to those specified in the itinerary - Laundry costs, soft drinks & alcohol (water is included with meals), souvenirs and items of a personal nature including medication - Departure taxes Health It is essential that you make The Elephant Mahout Project aware of any medical conditions or health concerns you may have that could affect your ability to complete a trip. This notification must be made in writing at or before the time of booking. If you have any health concerns whatsoever, these should be discussed with your doctor before departure. The booking form represents the entire agreement between the client and The Elephant Mahout Project. On signing the booking form you show your willingness to accept our terms and conditions and confirm that you have the authority to accept and are accepting the terms and conditions on behalf of all persons in the party. On accepting your booking we agree to carry out our obligations to you as defined above. |
