Sponsorship would enable to move the project forward in a big way.

Currently we are seeking sponsorship for the following items:

A pick-up truck with sidebars and removable seating
This would enable the mahouts to collect their own food for the elephants - pineapple leaves, grasses etc. - and provide the project with a means of transportation so that we don not have to pay for transport for volunteers
Additional housing at the camp
Additional housing would mean that we could provide homes for more mahouts to bring their elephants to the project and enable us to bring volunteer accommodation in-house
A mobile elephant medical unit
The nearest specialized elephant medical care currently available is in Surin - approximately a 5 - 8 hour drive away depending whether you have an elephant on board or not. A mobile unit would enable us to provide specialist medical equipment to other elephants in the surrounding area as well as at Lake View Elephant Camp
An education centre
An education centre at the camp would help to educate visitors about the problems faced by Thai elephants and their mahouts
A 'front of camp' unit to sell food for the elephants
Signs to place throughout the camp and along the roadside
Merchandise to sell to raise funds for The Elephant Mahout Project This could be t-shirts, baseball caps, key rings, soft toys etc.
